About

I am interested in many aspects of animal movements and distributions, both over space and through time. Attempts to understand the driving processes behind such movements and model past, present and future distributions are encompassed by the exciting fields of biogeography and spatial ecology. I am fascinated by animal migrations and plan to apply my studies and research to modeling the distributions of species and habitats. I particularly aim to apply geographic and spatial methods in an applied conservation context to reveal factors controlling migrations and dispersal, and the role that connectivity and corridors play.
